Hi guys, just finished building my quad yesterday (675mm) frm next level..I have checked and re checked everything that i can think off, motors are spinning the correct way and everything spins up as it should..but..it will not lift off the ground.. when i push the throttle past half the vu light flashes from yellow to red..would i be right in saying that its telling me "low voltage" for the time being i am using a fresh 11.1v 3200mah lipo..i have some new 4s lipos but i have to change the connectors to deans..props are on and turning the correct way..will try and get a few pics up..

Check the battery voltage settings are correct in the assistant software ESP the low voltage values.

Just checked them again in the assistant and its saying ..First level Protection.. No Load 11.55v.-..0.70v = 10.85v and the second level is saying..No load 11.10v..-0.70v = 10.40v
Do these figures look right?

Hi yakjock.. I have just had my quad in my hand and fired it up..when i open the throttle it wants to slam into the ground..i have checked everying..inc the gemfan props..they are spinning the right way yet still now lift what so ever..when its on the ground motors 2 and 4 seem to spin much faster than 1 and 3.. when i hold a hand over 2 and 4 it feels like an indoor electric fan..

The light also goes red when you're putting a load on the copter as in fast lift off and things. Does it go back to yellow when you let off on the throttle? What size motors are you using? I'm running 750kv motors on my 450 and I can barely get it to lift off with 10" graupners cuzz I can't get them to spin up fast enough.
Make sure you take a meter reading of your batt and type in the actual voltage when you're in the low voltage screen under battery calibration.

check your blades and motor rotation again, all props should be pushing air down not up. Looking at your picture, from a birds eye view, if the yellow arms represent the front, the right side motor should be counter clockwise-left side should be clockwise. Red arms, right side clockwise, left side counter clockwise. The high side of the blade is the direction the blade spins.

Hi tstrike..im using avroto's 2814..with 11.4.7 gemfans.. when i back the power off it does go back to flashing yellow. I put my lipo guard on my lipo and it gave a voltage that was slightly lower than what the naza assistant was showing..i put the numbers in according to the lipo guard and then got a low voltage alarm..I am hoping to get some different plugs for my 4s lipo's..I know i am missing something i just can't see what the hell it is..all the motors are spinning in the right direction..i just can't work out what the hll i have done wrong??..I have checked the props again and seems they are in the right order..

I believe you but I'd check again, some believe voodoo science that says the props should create thrust down. wacky huh? Humor me and check prop direction again.
