XAircraft fc1212-p question

Hi Folks, have just completed my X650 V8 assembly but have no rudder control and it appears my fc1212-p is not functioning as the copter spins in circles on take off. When using the Control software the fc1212-p section (with simulator) is not functioning. Also can not update firmware as I keep receiving an error message. Using a Spektrum DX8 and all switches have been assigned. When I installed the FC it faces the front. Is that problem as the fc1212-p is correctly positioned and facing front. Would love some help here as I'm frustrated with not being able to take off and don't want to damage my new machine. Help please.

I sPent a week with this same problem with the 1st gen fc1212, you know what it was? The dx8 rudder channel is messed up and needs to be sent back to spectrum. Mine did the exacttt same thing. Go into the monitor setting in the dx8 and when you move the sticks one or two channels will not return to home . Google glitchy dx8 rudder video. Hope this helps
