WKM vs. Naza

I just wanted to ask around. I'm fairly new to this field but I'm looking at getting an upgraded system from my F450 to something larger that I can use for AP. In the process I've been weighing my choices between the WK-M and the Naza. Other than the HUGE price difference. What are the real benefits of moving up to a WK FC? Any reasons not to?


I still haven't decided on the frame for the system yet but I would like one that will comfortably carry a DSLR to take video / photos with minimal vibration and movement.

If you are planning to take a DSLR I will take the WKM without a doubt, because you have more safety features. Also with the WKM you have a GPS hold and return to home that works like a charm.

I have the WKM on my DW AD-6 and really enjoyed every flight without worrying about losing visual orientation.

Thanks I actually took your advice and am in the process of building an AD-6 WK-M. I was wondering how you have yours wired (power distro, ESC placement, etc. ) any pics?

I have my esc's between the arms sandwiched in the plates, distro is a voltaire board with 14 guage copper for added beef. The voltair is rated for 75 i think, my logger today told me 85 amps on a hard climb out for 4 seconds, this did not have my gimbal or cam so im watching my distro carefully for heat with telemetry.... Running axi 2814/22 on 30a hobbywing. Wkm sits on top and my distro is attached tho the bottom plate i can post some pics up tomorrow, have fun man its sweet smooth craft

Hey thanks for the updates. I'd love to see those pics whenever you are able. I'll try and post some of my own once I get this thing built.

I own both, WKM on a AD6 and Naza with GPS on a Discovery. GPS Lock with Naza happens in 20-30 seconds, the WKM needs 3-4 minutes on the same location... The WKM is slightly better i GPS Hold in strong Wind in my advice. On a AD6 i'd go with a WKM
