It's nice to know where people are when you're chatting with them about something. It's also easy to ask someone if they want personal help if you see that they aren't too far from you.
I'm not telling anyone that they have to do this, just saying it's a nice detail to consider adding. It doesn't have to be too specific, you can simply put UK or Latvia, or whatever but please don't put actual addresses!!! That would be too much info!!
The site has the ability to list your location under your username in the left column of your posts. To add location info, click on the word settings in the top right corner and then click on "Edit Profile" in the left column. If you scroll down to almost the bottom you'll see a line where you can type in whatever location info you'd like to add.
TO the guy that just ran his F450 into a tree, I'd help you if you're not too far away but I don't know where you are! Your crash though gave me the idea for this thread so something good has come of it.
