Battery size and flight time question...

Hi,

My hexa is a Skyjib6 + AV200 gimbal and AXI 2820/14 motors. I was using a T3i to take video and now I'm using a NEX 5n. I'm using 2 x 4s 5800mah batteries and someone offered me 2 x 4s 8000mah, is there any benefit in flight time using 2 x 8000mah over 2 x 5800mah considering the added weight of 1lbs for the extra mah ?

Thanks

Shucks, why such a huge rig for a small camera(I have the same camera on a 3 axis gimble)?...Im envious!

Ive flown my 4kg hexa going from 4s 8ah x1 to x2 gave me about 40 to 50% more run time...depends on what you want to do while your in the air!

i just got my hexa off the ground yesterday and ive noticed that im getting about 2.75min out of a 2700mah 3s.
im using 3s because i seem to of over spec'd the motors im using to high of a kv rating. (sunnysky 2814's @ 1250kv.) i think i need to downsize to a lower kv .
