Hey everyone I'm new to the forums, I'm from Florida and have some great year round weather for flying ! I have been flying Helicopters for about 2 years now and looking to purchase my first quad. I plan on rigging up a Go Pro and gimbal right out of the gate. I'm going to be doing some aerial video and Photography so I have a few questions.
1.) Is a quad more stable for video.photos than a hex? ( remember I'm not looking for an aerobatic machine, I have my TREX 550e v2 3GX for that
)
2.) Can you recommend a good first quad that can do what I'm looking to do? ( I am only looking at a budget of around $2,000 USD. which needs to buy the frame, motors,ESC's, Battery and Flight controller. I already have a DX8 w/AR8000 rx so those will not be purchased)
3.) Is it better to buy a RTF kit over one you build?
4.) Can you recommend a good video editing software?
5.) Which cams produce the least amount of jello while holding onto a good quality video/picture ? (the camera is not included in my $2,000 budget. I have alocated a $1000 budget for camera alone)
I am starting up a business and will ultimately be taking photos and video for it, however I don't have the budget for a $10,000 quad at the moment, So I'm just looking for a good setup that will get the job done and have good quality Photos and video's.
