Anyone noticed something strange about the photo of the Spreadwings on the DJI site?
All of the props. are anticlockwise direction

The picture on their website is a computer rendering so I'm not surprised. There are a few real pictures floating around (cant find at the moment) and the CF props look different than the rendering.

Ah Specs, sorry: She doesnt use esc's, she uses pills to help regulate the speed of her toes. Based on how wet the toe nail paint is will determine the lift capacity. Faster she wiggles her toes, the more she can lift. She controls herself for the most part, so no remote needed. If you yell at it, it knows to do the opposite of what you ask. So if you want her to fly up you yell "DOWN!" I have noticed if it is cold out, the added resistance of the hair on the legs make her fly a little rough. Trim controls? She is very trimmed. You may notice over the years the gimbal will start to sag, but this is totally normal. best way to prevent this is to regularly fly it. If for some reason one leg gets bigger than another you may hear a "whining" noise coming from the body. There is a new Manolo Blanik firmware upgrade that will help all this out.

I did try that myself at one time, the verdict was that it interfered with the yaw stability too much.

Interesting, I didnt think about that but I guess if the axis are non-planar then you get off axis input as well. It would be interesting to see if this really helps with pitch/roll stability though. I am thinking of it this way: if you could get the heli to hover with less input from the FC by adding dihedral, then I guess it would become less twitchy from the constant corrections given by the FC. I wonder how much lift you lose. If those arms are anything like the F450/550 they flex. So under heavy descents they will inevitably flex upward a lot more than they already are.

this video actually looks good. quite a fast descend towards the end. What is doing the work it the question frame gimbal, post ? But looking at the video on a 30inch i couldn't say it was post stabilized.
