how do i use 2 - 6s 5000mah to get a 6s 10,000mah

hey guys, ive been lookin around and no dice, i want to take two of my 6s 5000 and double my time, so i essentially want a 6s 10,000mah.... how do i do it, will parallel wiring make it 12s?

No, Parallel make doppel mAh. And seriel make doppel cell.

So parallel is right.

Right on so in that drawing my esc will still see 6s but double the MAH

Series doubles voltage, parallel doubles mah. but since you are asking, parallel is positive to positive/negative to negative. Series is positive to negative. be careful! these batteries only need to short for a millisecond before the terminals fry. I just shorted a brand new battery the other day testing the voltage on it. a thousandth of a second and poof! gone. i threw it outside anticipating an explosion. It discolored under the wrapping instantly. Scary stuff. fortuinately ll that happened was the battery lead soldered to the cell burned itself off. maybe it was intentional as a fuse.

Nice, im pretty sure i want to pick up an s800... I have 6 6s 5300 for my trex 550, so at least i wont be buyin batteries, what do you guys think, should i get it now or after others have been the testers lol.... Its hard when the preorder saves me 500 and the cash is already in my pocket

On the S800, I'll have to parallel 4 of my 6s 4000's to get 16,000mah.. that's one crazy bundle of battery weight.

Im no pro foto guy so for me 10 - 15 minutes should be fun, website says 10,000 mah gets you 16 mins max w/ no payload
