Okay first info from the fair from a friend who i organized a ticket for.

The gimbal is not on the fair, only videos on ipads of the performance :)

There will be a a axis gimbal for 1500$ 1,2kg and a 3 axis gimbal 3000$ 1.5 kg.
The gimbal will not be driven from the WKM components but from a separate IMU, thus also usual on a different frame !
The gimbal should be available in two months in the german thus european market.

They introduced a second product called the Ruling
10 KM radio system with 5Km digital video transmission.
OSD Tele on the display
Also not in their booth though !

Other interesting stuff:

At the fair one of the guys from the mikrokopter forum is getting one soon. Has three different lenses that can be fitted to it and seem of higher quality casing wise than the Gopro.

and these props.

Very nice! That Cam One looks great. The thing I really hate about the GoPro is the super wide lens. Otherwise is it one damn nice little camera.

Those props look cool too but holy crap are they expensive. $85 for a pair!

seems that spektrum have also announced a DX18, 18channels, with some kind of diversity antenna arrangement, looks like a DX8 on steroids.

saw this via their facebook page.

Would be cool if somebody could post a quick video of the booth. Even if they don't have any shiny new stuff to show off.

hmm not sure if its possible since the tickets of the fair state at fotos are forbidden on the fair. Even if DJI agrees not sure what happens if fotos get posted in a public forum and to the users who does it ;(

Well, I just came back from the fair. And dji did have a prototype of the gimball on the stand. They even gave a demo and I can just say WOW! This thing whill be a game changer for sure. It is so stable, fast and smooth. It is a very large step forward in the gimball area. No servo driven gimball will come even close to this thing. They also showed their new s800 hexa frame, it is a beautifull frame. The escs (from dji) are underneath the motors. When you plugin the arms you connect the plus min and the signal for the escs. They claim 20min flight time with a payload of 1.2kg. They also had their systems for sale with a 30% reduction. So wookong m for 600 euros and the naza for 130 euros. Xoar had some interesting props too, they were designed for some kind of military multirotor. They look a bit like these from flyduino. http://flyduino.net/15-Handmade-Full-Carbon-Propeller-Set-2-CW-2-CCW but where only 15grams and had an even larger blade area. They also had upward standing tips. They will be available soon. So not unhappy at all, looks like the dji prototype gimball and s800 were there only for the weekend.
