How have you built your Flamewheel?

Just wondering how peeps have orientated the lower board? I have built mine with the 2 tabs pointing backwards and forwards, but I have just seen DJI pointing the tabs left and right...

What have you done? I'm trying to design a little landing gear for a camera mount...I suppose I should make it to fit in both directions!

Gunter check out my build .. got all electronics between the two plates... gopro mounted fixed by hole drilled in front 'Tab' PMU, GPS and LED mounted on back tab.. check out my build thread and video. Flies bloody brilliant.. dont bother with a camera mount or landing gear.. either mount goPro on top or if shooting wide hang it underneath.. I take off from a box and catch her when her time is up mo mither.. Me and Geoff went out filming yesterday.. you'll be amazed at the quality neither of us had camera mounts.. check out Geoffs quick vis on vimeo

Dave, you have done the same as me, with tabs front and back. That seems the obvious way to do it...

As the DJI official camera mount is a couple of months away I guess you could do your own thing in the meantime.

both my flame wheel builds are front to back with a hole drilled at the front for a gopro tripod mount on one and a fatshark fpv cam on the other. with everthing on the lower deck it 'should' be out of harms way in the event of a prang.
