Hi

My name is "knupps", short for Knut Uppstad.
I was a newsphotographer for many years, but today I work for myself.

Started up with a Gaui 330xs in august 2011 to test out aerial photography and video posibilities.
After a while I buildt a new DIY quadframe.
And I was instantly hooked.... Just love it.

I joined this forum to learn more.

Here are my first flights using my Canon IXUS 220HS

Welcome aboard knupps.

Thats a nice setup you have there.Does your video feed come directly from the Ixus?

Also you seem to have a little bit of oscillation, are your motor mounts stiff enough? did you think about mounting them directly to the frame ?

Hi, thanks for the comment.

The videofeed is from the IXUS, but I will get a new dedicated FPV camera.
I lost the feed from the IXUS once....................

The new motor mounts are very stiff, but I think the problem is weak Scorpion motors and GU-344 controller.
Mounting the motors on the frame arms is the best option. Will try that.
I also need a cameramount stabilizer.

Therefor I am planning to upgrade to the FlyCam Blackboard Set from http://www.kkmulticopter.kr/index.h...lected=KKMulticopter&sn=flycam_black&id_no=90
and Avroto 2814 Short Shaft motors from http://www.shop.aglhobbiesllc.com/Motors-ESCs-and-Props/Avroto-2814-Short-Shaft.html

Also looking for a good and simple new hexaframe.

Here is the first testflight with my new quadframe.
