Just wondered whether anyone has any thoughts/experience on this one.
I've been flying both my hexa and my arducopter quad on 10" props.
The arducopter, which has seen most action recently, seems to require more than half throttle to get it off the ground (it's a pretty light build) and keep it in the air. There also seems to be no 'sweet spot' where i can easily and smoothly control small altitude adjustments.
This might seem like a newbie question, but if i move to 11" or even 12" props, is it correct to assume that less throttle will be required to achieve lift and that throttle response should also be more smooth too?
So, finally, with the rctiger MT2212 750kv motors and a 3cell pack, what would you chaps suggest to be the ideal prop (on a quad)?
