Has anyone one had any issuses using 2.4 GHz on their multis using CF frames? I am especially curious about Futaba users since there are no satellites rxs available.

Thanks,

Jesper

Good points Jesper, one thing that has always made me think about range. With spektrum gear & JR you can buy a diversity receiver to go on your MR aicraft & plug 4 satellites into it, thats the route I'm taking.

I have an RC-Carbon frame with a Futaba R6014HS rx connected to a Serializer ppm converter. The converter is velcro'd to the rx and the rx is velcro'd to the inside top of my dome. I have been out about 1.5km with no problems. I now have RSSI feed from the rx to my ET OSD but have not calibrated it yet.

Hope this helps. Shawn

I thought the only time there was a problem with 2.4 and carbon fiber is if the antenna is run inside like in an airplane fuselage made from carbon fiber.
