This afternoon I did back to back flights with my MK/Droidworx AD6 plus AV130 camera mount and GoPro and then my WKM Y6 also with an AV130 mount and the same GoPro Hero HD. The video is completely raw MP4 only edited for length then uploaded directly to Youtube. I haven't flown the Mk for a while and just yesterday installed the older of the two AV130 I own which I had setup and dialed in for the WKM back when I first built it. Still working on the servo programming to get it working just right with the MK controller again, while I've got the tilt pretty much set its still a bit twitchy on the roll axis but good enough for now.
The WKM was converted back to a Y6 from a flat hex this past weekend and has the newer and faster of the two AV130 attached. I still need to work on the Altitude gain settings as you can see by the oscillations when I punched the throttle at the start of the climb, something I've never tried before with the WKM. Obviously the gain is a bit too high for the Y6 configuration and it has a tendency to a slight wobble when climbing slower as well so that equals out with the wobbly roll axis on the other AV130.
Both multis were flown straight up once I got over the garage roof and then slowly back down, both using GPS position hold and vario altitude control. The WKM went a lot higher due to the fact I forgot I was playing around with the height limitation setting on the Mk and had it set for a max ceiling of around 200 feet, the WKM probably went close to double that.
Overall I see no clear advantage of one over the other and that's saying a lot for the WKM being the new kid on the block and able to easily match the MK. I'll try to get both fully dialed in and do it again but I doubt there will be much difference even then...
Here's the MK...
Here's the WKM...
