Just received my shiny new motors from quadcopters.co.uk ... brilliant quality, nice and chunky, and they are black to match the airframe :) Thanks Geoff!

Gunter,

Have you a shop link for those motors or were they a special order?

Thanks,

Jim.

Jim,

Geoff only got his first batch yesterday, so probably not on his website yet...I'm sure they will be soon though!

very nice indeed - they look like the ones quadrocopter.us are putting on their CineStar builds.

expensive?

They are very similar spec wise. I don't know the exact price yet, I expect Geoff will confirm at some point soon.

They are same spec as Quadro.us put on there cinestar builds but mine are branded Torxpower , Pricing will be very competitive at £44.99 but I am going to run them for 1 month at £40.00 each .

Hopefully specs and listings will be up tonight at quadcopters.co.uk and soon on a dedicated site www.torxpower.co.uk and www.torxpower.com there will also in about 3 weeks time be a smaller 900kv motor similar size to the Axi 2217/20 and I have ran this size on the X650V Wookong and there awesome .. The Torxpower 3536 Pro are currently fitted on my Heavy lift Droidworx Quad and Droider will tell you it aint no slouch lol .

I can confidently say these motors are very well made .

I can vouch for the quality of these motors... I have seen both the HL, that Gunter has got and the smaller ones in action.. Gunter has let one of my exclusives out of the bag so I now only have one for this weekend... GRRRR..

Its ok Gunter you were not to know.. Guess its Geoffs great customer support that made him send um out as they landed on his door step prior to the official release date!

Any how I am sure there will be more info just as quick as he can get the TorxPower website up and running and also on quadcopters.co.uk.. But for those of you coming to the UK meet this weekend you will be able to see and feel the quality of these motors.. heres one of the official pics

Don't worry about the list. Just don't buy food for a couple of weeks and those motors will be yours :)

I was just about to order eight axi 2826/12 for €100 each.

Should I switch over to these as essentially I want to build a cinestar/skyjib when I'm done with quad X8?? The money saved could go towards the AV320......help!

The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind...

Of course! They have a thrust of over 2kg each and are perfect for bigger heli's....and they look lovely!
