Tau Labs OP CC Receiver drops off during Input Calibration

Bartman

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
I've been back to work with my X650 and the CopterControl board but I've got an interesting problem. When I begin the calibration process, as soon as I begin to move the transmitter sticks GCS shows the receiver as not connected. When the sticks go back to neutral, the receiver reconnects.
There was a suggestion in the OP forums to disable the flexiports and then repower but it's still happening.
I've loaded the new firmware (non-PPM version) and have also tried reverting to the original firmware (PWM version) that I was originally using but it's still happening.
Anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks,
Bart

They move until the receiver drops then they jump back to center. when i return the sticks to center the receiver will link up again and i can then make the sliders move around again but the receiver drops out before they can all be calibrated. i have seen a range of responses from the rx dropping out for any stick moving out of center as well as the rx dropping for only two or three of the four main channels moving away from center.
Thanks,
Bart

Interesting.. I tried to fire my OP CC up the other night and have no TX/RX getting even though they are bound. Ill put it on the GCS and see if its the same issue. I aint used my CC for a while either.. Odd

Any chance this one of those type boards where u have to Plug it in then
Move throttle stick to the (I think) right hand bottom corner
To make the thing active?

that would be for arming the motors to run, this problem I'm having is during set-up when the board is being introduced to the flight controls so they can be BFF.

Hi Crash,
Thanks for the reply. I'll take another look at it and get back to you. I think I was using the latest firmware revisions.
