I post one more time, last post i got a good answer but had to much work to keep the conversation up.
Anyways, iam really new to this whole area, but "i have a dream" (lol).
My goal in the end is to do aerial photography, but i look forward to build, fly crash, fix and crash some more before that goal is reached. I have done a lot of research, but its a big jungle out there so i figured out that posting a post is the best way to kickstart this dream.
So i have looked at Phantoms 2 with cameras and a gimbal. For me this looks way to "simple". it Probably would do the filming good enough (in the start) and then upgrade, but i am a geeky guy. I love tech and looking forward to a challenge with building, failing and in the end make it work. In other words this is going to be my new "big" hobby.
Now to the big question. I have looked at Quads and Octo copters. And i have decided to go for a octocopter. I have looked at the FY680 or the DJI F550. This is only the frames i found that were quite popular and looks like could be a good move in thoughts of aerial filming. There is something really appealing about the FY680, but inputs are more than welcome.
So i need everything from charger to batteries radio etc. My price range is around 1600$ at this point. But i can go higher later on. But i do not need the best of the best since i probably going to crash a bit in the first place.
