Fortis Airframes TITAN Y6 anyone?

Hi

I can't see a specific forum for tri or Y6, but just wondering anyone has their hands on a TITAN Y6, from Fortis Airframes yet?

I know these are relatively new, but hoping somebody can tell me how much the Y6 frame kit (as per picture above) weighs?

Looking at building up a Y6 but with a strict weight limit, and this could be the lightest Y6 I have found so far.
(Please correct me, if you know of others)

This has some pretty cool features, despite no response from Fortis to a direct email. :-(

Thanks in advance.

I don't have my hands on this one but I did own a Titan Tri and the quality and craftsmanship is BAR NONE! There should be a gimbal out made for it in the near future but I do not want to put words in Zach's mouth. Zach is normally GREAT at replying to emails so I would venture to say either he is SLAMMED or the info is on his site somewhere! :)

I would pull the trigger as his kits are AWESOME.

He replied to me via Facebook. :)
(I see that they have a new born, so understandable that he is busy)

The frame with 16" booms is about 338g, the Large Camera Mount adds about 90g. My setup weighs 1250g without batteries or a camera. With two 3000mAh 3s batteries it weighs 1693g. AUW with a Sony NEX-3 and FPV gear is around 2343g

338g is the weight of the TITAN Y6 with 16" booms.

WOW!
This means I could build a Y6, have the piece of mind of motor/prop redundancy, AND it will weigh 40g less than my planned F450 with Aimdroix extended arms project.

It looks like an incredibly tight fit for a Wookong-M and all the other junk, but the video TX mast helps here.

The way the arms can break off in a crash is appealing in a perverted way. :dejection:

I'm trying to think of reason not to go down this path - but I can't think of any.

Ordered a Fortis Y6 kit over the weekend, along with some accessories.
Fortis Airframes had a 10% discount with a July4 promotion.

Looking forward to it arriving. :nevreness:
