Only in GPS mode my quad does not like to rotate! Flies fine in att and manual. Flies fine in GPS too, hovers very well straight forward, back, left and right.
Fault: In GPS, i rotate 90CW and it starts sliding to the left (needs my input at 70% to stop it) or rotate to original takeoff direction. If i do a 180 turn it goes heavily backwards, again needing loads of forward elevator from me to stop it.
Tried loads of recalibrations, gains, compass movements and nothing solves this.
I did note that in failsafe on its way back home (as it had turned itself around), i returned it to GPS mode and the fault was now in reverse ( it would only face me and hover well-rotate and away she went.)
Any ideas. Spent two days looking online for a similar problem without success ....note that this is not the Toilet Bowl Effect as it never does a circular motion on its own.
And as far as the controller learning as some sites suggest (a few flights), i only have 100m safely to let it go and showed no signs of levelling out and quite a few flights done.
I have noticed one motor always starts just a tad after the others but the flight details show nothing different-also in naza motor test it moves but barely (ordered another ESC but i do not think this has anything to do with the GPS rotate issues)
