A correct ESC for this motor

Hi guys,

I want to build a quadcopter (kind of arducopter) by myself, but I don't have any experience in this area, nevertheless i will like to try. I have read very much, and I think now is the time to get your hands dirty.

I want to buy 4 units of motor (Turnigy Brushless Motor 1300kv 4240), but I wonder if this ESC is suitable for it? If the quality is good this ESC? Or do someone have another better suggestion for ESC?
I appreciate some information. Tks for all.

Hi Marcelo,

What props do you intend to put on that motor? The kV is VERY high for such a big motor. It would be better if you laid out your entire specification to give us a better idea of what you're trying to achieve.

Im worried about the description: "Each and every Birdie ESC is QC checked by Hobbyking and placed under a 2 minute load test ensuring your Birdie will be ready to fly!" That means (to me) they are so badly built that even HK feels it has to QC them on receipt to avoid floods of returns!

"Standard" choice from HK is the Plush series.
