Motor RPM

What would cause one motor out of a set of 6 to have a higher rpm than the remaining five?
In this case all motors are brand new and being run up on a test bench with the same ESC, battery and speed controller etc.
But one sounds much faster at full speed.

Im guessing that it just sounds faster rather than is actually spinning faster. Reason for this could be something like a dodgy bearing which is causing a noise. Otherwise I am stumped.

Hi maybe try a digital tachometer when running the motors up that should tell you if one motors running faster then the rest.
Did you say your using 1 ESC to test all motors ?
