Glad to find this forum so I can learn more about my new passion. I read about aerial photography in USA Today a few weeks ago and it just clicked that this was the part time retirement job I've been looking for. I have been in and out of the RC hobby for decades and have an interest in photography also. So far I have gotten the DJI Phantom 2 Vision and a couple of small indoor quads to practice with. Am looking at the S800 or the new 1000 as well as others and am wondering if there are any comparable American made multi rotors on the market. Am currently taking photography classes to advance my knowledge there also. One last note, I am a Corvette fan and saw a story that the national corvette museum had a sinkhole today which swallowed up 8 corvettes so far, some high dollar ones at that, not cool. When I went on line to view the story more, low and behold one video was done using a multi rotor copter to fly down into the sinkhole... Very Cool.
