Hi Everyone,

I am David from Central New York and I'm stepping into this new world with excitement and trepidation. I have experience in mapping and GIS and have the desire to use multi-rotors to compliment this skill. I also have an 11 year old son who is going to help me when things get too hairy!

Anyway, Thanks in advance to everyone for their help and patience while I climb the learning mountain!

Best,
David

Hi David, and welcome to the forum. Loads of good info here and no such thing as a dumb question so get researching and enjoy this fabulous hobby/profession.

Welcome David. Post freely and often. Research and practice till you are sick of it and keep at it. This is not an ego thing either- it's ok to ask questions. There are no dumb questions only questionable answers sometimes. The history of flight is littered with what did not. I crash; I learn. As I grow I crash less. I may crash better though. Good luck and have some fun along the way. Jay
