Hoverfly Hoverfly Gimbal Controller + Cinestar 3 axis gimbal continuous rotation servos.

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to convert our Cinestar 3Axis gimbal into a continuous rotation servo gimbal. I've made the modification to the pitch and roll servo's by removing the potentiometer and substituting them with a small combination of resistors exactly like what is on the Pan servo.

I'm having no luck though with the Hoverfly Gimbal controller even picking it up? I've ticked the continuous rotation servo box under the "Servo Setting" tab. I've also mounted the Hoverfly Gimbal controller on the camera tray next to the camera.

What I'm getting at is has anybody done this change yet?

I did before the brushless conversion. Can you explain the issues with a bit more detail? How is it reacting?

Hi,

Sorry for only replying now. I found the problem, it was one of my servo signal boosters which stopped working (I have one of the very first boards which needed it). Replaced it and now all seems to be working fine.
