Hi, I'm a mult-rotor noob but an RC old timer.
I've been fooling with just about every form of RC vehicles made for about 35 years.
I always wanted to do aerial photography with an RC plane and recently discovered multi rotor copters and discovered this is what I've been looking for.
Considering a DJI 450 or 550 (leaning to the 450) but not sure what else might be a good platform for a beginner.
Was thinking of the Phantom 2 Vision but got scared off by some of the mysterious problems I've read about on other forums. Sounds like maybe there's a possible issue with the connection of that brick style battery it uses?
I need to purchase everything except a charger, I have an excellent Lipo charger already, so I will be looking for all sorts of recommendations.
I hope to be in the air by the new year.
