There have been a lot of claims as to to main cause of Multi-rotor "fly-aways".... What are your thoughts? If interested, please complete the following poll. Results will be made available to all by the end of November or sooner depending on the extent of responses. The poll is located here: Look for the posting entitled "MultiRotor Fly-Aways". https://plus.google.com/u/0/?tab=wX:tennis:

I would start with how many of those fly aways are DJI products. Then I would want to know how well those helis were assembled, tuned and balanced. Then I would ask how many of those fly aways occured while flying in GPS mode and/or from flipping the RTH switch. I have a feeling that most of these cases are beginners flying Naza's. As much as i knock DJI I have a feeling most of these are pilot error in the fact that the pilot overlooked potential RFI/interference issues or didnt calibrate something, loose/crappy solder joints, bad gps sat lock, impatience. but then again I am sure there have been situations where the damned thing just has a mind of its own and started heading back to china. Who knows. It would be interesting to fnd out what's truly behind it all.

Thanks IrisAerial.... you bring up some excellent points...... I would prefer to use the Multirotor polling system but can't seem to locate it and set it up..... so I chose the new Google polling which seems to be a bit of a challenge to set up properly...
