Flew using my 5.8 Fat Shark for the first time yesterday it huge fun but only the tip of the iceberg and improve over time I will. I noticed the moisture from my eyes was clouding the lens in my goggles does anyone know a cure for that?

It sounds gross but.... Lick your finger with your tongue to moisten your fingertip and then rub your fingertip on the two lenses. It's the same sort of thing divers do to stop fogging in their mask except they spit into the mask. I don't think you want to spit in the goggles though. LOL! Others have said they heated the goggles up a little by leaving them in the case in the sun or near the car heater. Hope that helps!

BTW, it's a real kick flying with the goggles isn't it? I love it!

Thanks for the tip Fly Girl! I never thought of that but warming up the goggles makes good sense I will do that for sure. There is some anti fog lens cleaner at work I'll try rather than spit into the lens or lick my finger, doesn't that mess up the view a little.

Some sporting goods stores have anti fog wipes that you can wipe the lens with. That's if you don't want to lick the inside of your goggles.

I usually sit my goggles on top of my head for a while, this makes sure that the goggles are "up to temperature", one of my flying buddies sits his around his neck so that they sit close to his body to warm up.

I have a Fat Shark dominator with dipol antennae and want to know how to improve video quality without breaking the bank or maybe buying bits at a time.

I use two circular antenna. They are 5.8 ghz circular wireless omni Tx/Rx antenna. They do come in 2.4 ghz if that is what you are using. If your RC Tx/Rx is 2.4 ghz then you should be using 5.8 ghz for your FPV, to prevent interference. Your can see them at: readymaderc.com.

Other than using a directional antenna on your goggles the next best thing is the IB Crazy Mad Mushroom CP antenna set, three lobe for vTx and five lobe for vRx.

I have circular Fat Shark antennae and a 5.8ghz system I'm looking to sharpen the picture. I'll check out that website, thanks.

My camera is mounted on Velcro can that be a problem? The picture is watery on video and worse through the Fat Shark , I have round Fat Shark antennae and your basic bottom rung Fat Shark system. It was suggested to switch to mushroom antennae, do they make a big difference?

It made a big difference for me! Also I have my FPV cam mounted on two layers of foam tape with Sorbathane in between.

I'll have to buy those things then. I'm also thinking having the Fat shark TX mounted with one layer of thin sticky tape directly on top of a fair size aluminum plate could be a problem too.
