Sharing my S800 EVO build experience (and open to criticism and ideas!)

I have just built my S800 EVO and thought I would share the experience. I may also get some criticism and ideas from others

I already have an F550 so I was not new to the DJI Innovations site, however when I viewed their S800 assembly videos about where to mount things, some of it didn't make much sense.
I got better tips from people on this forum.

Here's my first video, it's mostly about the iOSD installation. I have another one on the way about practical bits and pieces.

Thanks for sharing the video a good onsite..i am putting my evo together today and was wondering how you can tell if the IMU in V1 or V2?

Hi Richard,

My package, with the Wookong and 50 waypoints, came with the V1 IMU, it's the one in a plastic case.
I read postings about S800 crashes due to the firmware 5.24 upgrade and also apparently the V2 IMU works better for heavy payloads, so I upgraded it. Cost me 250€ ! I had to send the old one back and I hope to have the new one any day (it's coming from Spain).
The V2 IMU is in a metal case.
