Mikrokopter Mk3638

Hey, has anyone ever tried using the mk3638 engines with other esc other than the mikrokopter ones...planning a build and wanna use the hk 30a escs that I have with these. Thanks

I believe those motors are rebranded Tiger 2814 motors in which case a 40A ESC would be recommended with 4S batteries. The motors should be fine with the standard chinese ESC's that are commonly available.

I was always under the impression they were made by Pulso - either way they're very good
One of my machines uses these with Hoverfly controller and 40A Hobbywings on 4S and is extremely athletic.

Thread is a month old but why not? I swing the new APC 16x5.5MR props with my 3638's. Flies very nice. Total weight with Blackmagic Pocket/14mm lens, 3-axis, and 2x6500maH batts= 5000g. MK stack. I have barely enough room to swing the 18" props, might experiment with those.
