Mikrokopter Save a bundle on ESC's ?

Hobby King has a new 30 amp ESC that can be used with Mikrokopter I2C developed by Timecop and SimonK. This not an advertisement but a request by a user who would like to save some cash. The motor assignment is made by flashing the ESC, but the instructions do not give directions on how to do it. Anyone here have a clue on how to assign the esc's to the motors the ESC's are branded "Afro" in the Hobby King web site.

I saw the HK ad for these a few weeks ago and was wondering if they were any good? I was thinking of trying them on a quad frame that I printed on my 3D printer? I look forward to some first hand reviews.

thanks for the heads up. motor control has always been something of a tripping point when trying to use MK. i'm going to look into this, especially now that the flight control is doing better with altitude hold.

current model is limited to 4S battery packs and 30A. that's what the current Mikrokopter motor controllers are limited to. at $80 each for the MK units, the $13 ESC will likely become the MK standard use motor controller, if I had to guess.... :)
