Yep dont mess with um.. 2.4ghz stuff will if your TX/RX is the same. + the range on them is very limited. up to 60m is nowt.

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
if the 7d has a composite video/audio out cable and it will show video on a tv while it's in photo or video mode then it will broadcast to you on the ground with the help of a video transmitter.
it's pretty straightforward to get set up and we can help you avoid the kinks.

The two units are quite different - the Hahnel has a CMOS camera built in to it so you'll get an FPV-like view, plus it takes a video feed from the camera so you can echo the live view down to the ground unit. It also incorporates remote shutter release. The ProView unit, on the other hand, points a CMOS camera into the viewfinder, and it doesn't include any remote shutter release. But the ProView unit has a reasonable range whilst the Hahnel seems a bit weak.

In theory, 2.4GHz FHSS means that it should play nicely with other radios, including other 2.4GHz radios. The Hahnel doesn't say what radio system it uses but the range kinda excludes it from the game anyway.

It would be more money of course (and heavier), but the ultimate answer here is Canon's own wi-fi unit for the 7D. Then you get complete control over the camera. If the range is not enough for you there are various solutions to plug into the ethernet port on the wi-fi unit.
