Hoverfly Spektrum DX8 and AH

I am trying to get AH working with my Spektrum DX8, but it seems that there is only one two-position switch on this radio (Gear). That two position switch I already have used for switching between AL and Manual flight modes. Has anyone tried using the three position switches Aux 1, or Aux 2 for AH? Since the mid point of these switches seems to be zero I am worried that it might cause problems. Any other workarounds?

Use the three position switch marked Flap/Gyro on the DX8.

This is the default switch if you follow the suggested receiver connections in the HoverflyPRO manual. Position 0 is AH-OFF and Position 2 is AH-ON

I have a DX7 I also use the 3 position switch (gear) for GPS/ATTI/FAILSAFE

Thanks for the quick help. Just for curiosity's sake, if I hesitated on position 1 or mistakenly left this switch on position 1 in flight would that be AH on or off?

Nothing will happen and AH will remain OFF in position 1.
